Forum Events Puts People First with Mental Health Focused Team Incentives
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Forum Events is shining a light on the role that recognition, connection and collaboration play in supporting positive mental health at work, particularly in high pressure sales environments.
For Forum Events, rewarding teams is nothing new. The business has religiously run monthly incentives for its sales teams for many years, recognising that motivation, morale and mental wellbeing are closely linked, especially during tough market conditions and challenging selling periods.
In a year that marks Forum Events’ 30th anniversary, the company has taken its incentive strategy even further, creatively linking rewards and team initiatives back to its milestone birthday, reinforcing the importance of shared success and collective celebration.
Throughout the first half of the year, each month has brought a new incentive theme designed to energise the team, encourage collaboration and celebrate progress:
- January kicked off with incentives tied to the first 30 confirmed bookings, driving strong momentum and a noticeable increase in booking percentages.
- In February, the team “spread the love” through a Valentine themed challenge, collecting hearts for every sale, with prizes building all the way to Cupid’s rewards.
- March saw a major Media Massive promotion, featuring vouchers, competitions and a live leaderboard. Winners were celebrated across the business, including Clair Seeley on supplier sales, Katy Phillips on media sales and Jemma on delegate growth.
- Moving into April, Forum Events combined its annual Easter Egg Hunt with a full Games Week, featuring challenges such as Hangman, Higher or Lower and Spin the Wheel, creating moments of fun during a busy commercial period.
Across the year, rewards have included vouchers, additional time off, enhanced booking percentages and team lunches, recognising both results and effort, while encouraging teams to support one another.
By aligning these initiatives with Mental Health Awareness Week, Forum Events is reinforcing a clear message: performance is strongest when people feel valued, supported and connected.
With over half the year still to come, the business confirms that incentives will continue to ramp up as part of its 30‑year celebrations, with more team focused initiatives planned across the coming months.
